The Sweater Rug Collection pays tribute to the thick, cozy, hand-knitted garments that have kept New Englanders warm for hundreds of years. Our creative director, Maegan Fee, fused her love of knitted textiles and her skill at the weaving loom to create this modern take on a classic construction. Woven in Fall River, Massachusetts, where textile manufacturing has been a way of life for over 150 years, each Sweater rug represents Merida’s design innovation as well as the craftsmanship and history that American textile towns like Fall River embody.
