Pictured in the April issue of House Beautiful is a spacious and airy room that has classic, old world sophistication.  The bright white walls allow the uniquely shaped furniture and the textured rug to remain the focal points of the room.

The April issue of Veranda includes stunning photos of a Palm Beach home designed by James Michael Howard.  The tradition style house features a predominantly neutral color palette with dark ceiling beams that allow the lighter pieces to pop.  The tall ceilings give the space a sense of luxurious elegance, which is further emphasized by the classic furnishings.

The Pipeline Oatmeal area rug pictured on the floor gives the room texture while staying true to the neutral color palette.  The linear textural pattern of the sisal rug offsets the soft furniture and rounded curve of the drapes.

Unveiling the San Francisco Designer show house in print, the February/March issue of Elle Décor features a 6-page spread detailing the exquisitely designed rooms throughout the home.  Pictured here is the strong, masculine living room designed by Gary Spain.  Merida’s wool and sisal Cortina rug is pictured in Black Diamond, grounding the room and adding sophisticated texture.

Elle Décor showhouse talent Erin Martin’s design is featured in a 5 page spread in the February 2011 issue of House Beautiful.  The breath taking Santa Barbara home has a traditional feel and incorporates a lot of European style trends, including Venetian plaster walls.

The living room pictured on page ? showcases dramatic ceilings and a gorgeous fireplace that acts as the centerpiece of the room.  Pulling the look together is Merida’s Bora Bora jute rug in a soothing grey Volcano color.  The texture is dramatic enough for the room and the jute fiber adds a soft, lustrous elegant touch.

A few months ago, the cast of hit PBS show This Old House visited our Fall River manufacturing facility to film rugs that designer Melissa Gulley selected being made for this season’s Auburndale House.  Gulley selected three different styles of wool rugs in custom colors to warm up the home and tie the look together.  Pictured here is a tufted Solar rug custom colored for the sunroom.  Catch the tour of our facility on the final episode which premiers the week of January 20^th.  Check your local listing for the exact times in your area.

The January/December 2011 issue of Coastal Living showcases a stunning Bermuda villa fittingly decorated for the holiday season.  The playful prints seen on the dining room chairs channel a laidback beach look that remains true to its environment yet sophisticated enough for the formal setting. 

To enhance the look, Merida’s Marrakech textured sisal rug, seen beneath the dining room table, adds eye-catching texture in a subtle neutral tone.  Designer Meg Braff did a fabulous job designing this stunning seaside retreat!

The January 2011 issue of Canadian House and Home magazine selected Merida’s Coquille Nutmeg rug as one of the products featured in their “Rooms that Work” section.  Under the heading “Punchy Palette”, the Coquille rug was selected because the fun pattern can add playful interest to a room while the neutral color blends seamlessly with brighter pieces.
